About Us

My photo
The Anderson family began in July 2003. Our family of two, soon became a family of three when we welcomed our first baby girl in December 2004. Alexis was joined by a brother and sister in March 2007. Twinners Dane and Hailey graduated our family of 3 to a family of 5. In March 2012 our family was completed by the arrival of our beautiful baby Kate. We are a busy family to say the least, but the happiest family in the world! We couldn't be a happier stronger family!

Sprinkler Fun!!

Alright, so it's been a while since I have posted pictures of the kids... So here you go! Today it was suppose to reach 100 degrees outside. In anticipation I planned (cause everything I do now has to be planned!!!) on taking the kids out front after morning naps and let them play in the sprinkler. All 3 kids LOVE the water!

Alexis was fast out the door when I mentioned 'sprinkler' and the babies were soon to follow :)

It was hard to get pictures of them all together, because --well my kids don't hold still. And for those parents out there, you obviously know how hard it is to keep your little ones from putting things in their mouth! I was like a crazy mom running constantly every which way trying to keep them from putting grass, rocks, bark, dirt, anything you can think of that might be outside, in their mouths!!! It was really funny, Dane decided since the dogs drink the water off the ground, that he should too!!! Yes I was a bad mom, of course when I saw this I grabbed the camera first!! But it was a cute shot!!! Enjoy the pictures!!! There is one of our 2 pugs Nala and Pugsy. They got tired and decided to rest in the shade :) ENJOY! Warning, I went crazy with the camera :)

Sorry to you other parents out there, but I really do have the cutest kids in the world!!

It's true, your kids are pretty darn cute! I can't believe how big they are getting. That is so cute that Dane was drinking the water off the ground. The things kids do. Sahara has done a lot worse (like actually drinking out of the dog bowl the other day, Brandon was watching her and he stopped her as soon as he saw her ;)). So fuN! I love how excited kids are to run through sprinklers. We have many of those days. Oh and as far as camping goes, I think it would be alot harder with 3 kids so I don't blame you. Luckily my girls are SUPER good at it. Which is good cause Brandon loves it too...which means I just tag along for the ride ;)

Oh so much fun! I love running through the sprinklers even now! It looks like your kids had a blast. (I love the one of your daughter doing her side kick pose!)

Oh and I will be posting some pictures of Seattle soon, thanks for always being so nice!

Looks like a lot of fun... Your kids are lucky to have each other to play with... I feel bad for Cole sometimes because I think he gets bored just hanging out with me all the time:)

Story of the twins arrival!

Alright, here's the scoop. On March 31st, I was starting to retain a bunch of water in my abdomin and the previous day I was spilling protein, so the doctor wanted me to go up to the hospital to have a lab taken to make sure I wasn't developing high blood pressure ( preeclampisa). So I went to the hospital at 8pm. The moment they hooked me up to the monitors I started contracting! Every 5 mins getting progressively worse in that hour. The doctor came back in and said, well you are in labor, what do you want to do?? I looked at him and told him he either had 3 hours to get these babies out of me, or we were waiting another 24 hrs because I was not going to have these babies on April 1st! So the doctor said, how soon can your husband be here? We then started preparing for Dane and Hailey's arrivals.
I arrived at the hospital to have some labs done at 8pm, by 9pm we decided we were delivering, and Dane arrived at 10:09pm and Hailey at 10:10pm. Both babies were in the NIC-U for 2 days since they were so early (35 1/2 weeks) and then were released to pediatrics with me and Drew. We were all able to head home on their week birthday:) Both Dane and Hailey are doing extremely well, and big sister Alexis couldn't be happier! I'm just glad they are out of my stomach!
